Mmm, Chocolate!

Mmm, chocolate!  I love chocolate.  I'll take chocolate over sweets any day!  There is a vast array of chocolate on the market these days (although some you can't call chocolate anymore, ahem, Cadbury's) and there are quite a few DELICIOUS and EXTRAORDINARY options made right here in the UK!

Go big or go home - The Chocolate Smiths

This seems to be the philosophy of The Chocolate Smiths in North Shields.  Their Bizarre bars are fusion-tastic, creating 145g of pure delight in every bite.  Their creative flavours include Passionfruit Paradise, Salted Caramel Brownie and Nana's Biscuit Tin to name just a few.  They also have special collaboration bars that they create through the year, collaborating with other local small businesses to make even more glorious chocolate combos.  If you want a chocolate experience, this is where you need to go!

Get blown away with Salcombe Dairy

The chocolate from Salcombe Dairy will leave you wanting more!  Their delicious 80g bars are made in Devon and boast a large range of flavours, and we have a small selection available at Little Shop of Makers.  Salcombe Dairy ticks all the boxes when it comes to ethics.  They use organic and fairly traded cocoa beans, green energy, compostable and recyclable packaging (which is locally sourced where possible), support food banks and local schools, donate a portion of their profits to charity, and are a family owned business.  They have all the classic flavours for you to dive into and enjoy.

Slabb - your boozy bestie

Slabb are best known for their alcoholic chocolate bars, although this isn't all they make.  They took inspiration from their favourite cocktails to create some truly sensational chocolate bars!  They come fully loaded with toppings too!

If you're not a fan of alcoholic chocolate, have a look at their "stuffed slabbs".  You won't regret it!
